A Spare Tyre production in association with Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch
Director Arti Prashar
From a moonlit night to fire in the heart, Love Unspoken explores the everyday love that we never quite manage to speak of. A performance that takes you on a sensory journey of jasmine, dance and Indian-influenced rhythms. Created with South Asian elders, we invite you to share in our story of Love Unspoken.
This October sees the premier of Spare Tyre’s Love Unspoken at Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch. It is the final part in a trilogy of dementia shows conceived and directed by Arti Prashar.
An inclusive performance co-created with people living with dementia and their carers, open for all to enjoy.
Spare Tyre is grateful to members of HASWA (Havering Asian Social Welfare Association) who helped create these performances.
A panel discussion on Dementia and BAME communities will be held after the Friday Matinee performance.
Spare Tyre is a participatory theatre company working to engage with those least involved in the arts.
