You’re invited to this special online, live streamed preview performance of COVEN with Rebecca Brewer and Daisy Chute.
COVEN is an all-femxle gig theatre show about witches, described as a TED-Talk with songs, a concept album told live.
Told in a medium-bending format using original alt-folk songs interwoven with stories, the show explores themes of belief, magic, mob mentality, gender and class. COVEN is inspired by the story of the 16th Century witch trials, how the “witch craze” happened, and why we might be heading for another one…
Beamed live to YouTube from our brand new THE OTHER STAGE, you will help Rebecca and Daisy test their show before it starts touring the UK!
Tickets are free, but we ask that you help Rebecca and Daisy by filling out a short post-show questionnaire.
You will be sent a link to the stream on the night, as well as a link to a post-show Q&A with Rebecca and Daisy.
COVEN contains language and situations authentic to the characters and worlds portrayed, and is recommended for ages 14+.
This performance of COVEN is in association with Queens Theatre Hornchurch and New Perspectives.
