Havering Association for People with Disabilities Art Group Exhibition
Havering Association for People with Disabilities (H.A.D) is a local charity supporting adults with disabilities living in Havering, proudly celebrating our 50th Anniversary this year. As part of this celebration we are promoting for clients to ‘TrySomethingNew’. A wide range of challenges and activities have been planned for our attendees here at H.A.D based in Woodhall Crescent, Hornchurch.H.A.D is extremely proud to have a talented Art Group supported by our Volunteer Tutor ‘Stephen’. In April 2019 we visited Guildhall Art Gallery for inspiration and throughout the year we have been very busy planning and preparing for our own exhibition which Queens Theatre has kindly offered to host for us.
The groups Art work will be on display from Monday 2nd until Friday 13th September, however, we will be inviting friends, family, the Mayor of Havering Cllr Michael Deon-Burton, Cllr Christine Smith, Cllr Stephanie Nunn and members of the community to us on Wednesday 4th September between 10 am – 12 noon, to join us at this special event to view their work and join us for refreshments in the Cafeteria.
If you would like more information on H.A.D and their services please view our website, Facebook page or call 01708 476554.
