In August 2019, Havering Changing was thrilled to be one of only twelve new places in the country successful in its application to join Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places programme, for a four year period starting in November 2019. Havering Changing will trial radical new ideas that engage local people in arts and culture in a variety of new ways.
We are now seeking to expand our team by appointing three passionate, enthusiastic Area Workers to support the Project Director, to kick start a new, vital and inspiring creative project for Havering. The successful candidates will work alongside local residents, supporting them to choose, create and take part in their own programme of bold, exciting events and opportunities that the communities of Harold Hill, Orchard Village, Rainham and Romford will be proud of.
Area Worker (Harold Hill) two and a half days per week equivalent.
Area Worker (Orchard Village and Rainham) three days per week equivalent. 
Area Worker (Romford) two and a half days per week equivalent.
