The Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch has today announced this year’s pantomime will be the favourite panto classic Aladdin, playing from Thursday 26 November 2020 to Sunday 3 January 2021.
Your festive wish has come true, as classic panto favourite Aladdin flies into Hornchurch, written by Andrew Pollard and directed by Douglas Rintoul (the Theatre’s Artistic Director).
Hop aboard a magical carpet ride to a far-away land. Join the adventure as Aladdin falls in love with the Princess, discovers an enchanted lamp and, with his hilarious mum Widow Twankey and a mysterious Genie, sets out to make a fortune. But hiding in the shadows is the evil Abanazar, who will stop at nothing to get his hands on that lamp… boo! hiss!
This much-loved traditional pantomime is from the team behind last year’s Robin Hood. With singalong pop tunes played live for all ages and plenty of audience participation, this is a laugh-out-loud Christmas treat to remember.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday 31 January at 10am and can be purchased online at queens-theatre.co.uk. Tickets will be held at 2019 panto prices (£12.50 – £32 plus a 65p QNew Transformation fee) until Tuesday 31 March only, so get booking now!
