Would you like the chance to be part of a production at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch? We have the opportunity for some local young performers to share the roles of ‘Girl’ and ‘Boy’ in our professional production of Love Letters – a brand new musical celebrating the very best of Essex this spring!
What happens when an unposted love letter meant to be sent between a passionate young couple dating, only gets delivered many years later? Perhaps it’s time both put aside some regrets and rediscover what might have been – if it’s not too late…
With a raft of brilliant songs from Essex’s very best, with hits ranging from the 60s to today, this funny and popular working class love story promises to be an uplifting night out for everyone proudly calling Essex their home. A world premiere from Douglas Rintoul and team members from hits such as ‘Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’.
We are looking for 6 young performers to share the two roles:
- Three girls aged 11-13 to share the role of ‘Girl’, must be able to sing and move confidently.
- Three boys aged 11-13 to share the role of ‘Boy’, must be able to sing and move confidently.
There will be three children cast for each role who will alternate throughout the run.
You will have to audition to take part.
