Fiddler on the Roof

It’s 1905 in the small Russian village of Anatevka, and Tevye, a poor milkman, lives in a tight-knit Jewish community with his wife and five daughters.

Tevye wants to protect his daughters and uphold tradition, but has to do so in an ever-changing political and social landscape. His three eldest daughters wish to break with tradition and marry for love rather than settle with whichever husband the matchmaker, Yente, brings them. Meanwhile, Tsarist Russia is in decline and there are dangerous forces at work in Anatevka that threaten to destroy the very life Tevye is trying to preserve.

Fiddler on the Roof is a story of life, love and laughter. It scooped nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964 and has been a hit with audiences ever since.

Join us for this heartwarming production that is rich with wonderful hits, including Matchmaker, Matchmaker, Sunrise, Sunset, If I Were a Rich Man, To Life (L’Chaim!) and Tradition.
