Without Icing
brings together the worlds of physical theatre and musical theatre, mixes
them up in a cabaret environment, creating an interactive melting pot
of theatrical genres and an evening of great entertainment you won't forget
in a hurry!
Without Icing
also serves as a platform for new and emerging lyricists and composers
from around the world, showcasing their work with a fresh new approach.
These writers have allowed us to play with songs that they may have removed
from shows, compositions that have never been performed, pieces that have
been reworked for the company and especially written new pieces, specifically
for Without Icing.

Impetuous
Kinship was formed in 2004 by Co-Artistic Directors Daryl
Branch and Marcia Carr after scratching the
Little Girl who was too fond of Matches at BAC (Battersea
Arts Centre), a physical theatre adaptation of the French novel by
Canadian writer Gaeton Soucy. The final piece will premiere at the 2006
Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where they will also be part of the
Arts Council England, East annual showcase East to Edinburgh.
