In lavish period costume, in front of a stunning classical set, the evening promises a vivacious and rousing finale including all of your 'Last Night' favourites such as Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Brittania, Jerusalem, the ever-popular Hornpipe, Dambusters March as well as the Can-Can from Orpheus in the Underworld.
Naturally The Locrians also include many other beautiful melodies, by composers such as Mozart, Elgar and from Bizet's Carmen.
The Locrian Ensemble is now firmly established as one of Britain's most sought after and keenly followed classical music groups. These top professional musicians continue to present audiences with fascinating musical programmes, lavishly dressed in period costume, within an evocative candlelight setting. They are constantly in demand in London studios, recording music for the most respected film composers of the day, including the scores of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
