Theatre for Young Minds
SECONDARY SCHOOLS
10 week intensive performance project
Would you like your school to do a performance on the main stage of the Queen’s Theatre? Would you like your students to work with a professional director? Then why not get involved in our 10 Intensive Performance Course!
This is a course especially designed for students to learn professional acting, devising and performance skills and a chance to apply these skills to a performance on the stage of a producing theatre.
Techniques: Devising, acting, ensemble work, characterisation, improvisation and performance
Cost: £1000 for 10 x 2 hour workshops

Response Project
Would you like to learn more about a Queen’s Theatre play and perform on the main stage on the set of a professional production? Then why not take part in our new Response Project!
This is an exciting theatrical experience where your students get to delve deep into a main house production at the Queen’s Theatre and perform on our main stage on the set of a professional production.

The project involves visits to your school by a professional member of staff from the Queen’s Theatre where your group will devise a 10 – 15 min response to a play produced by the Queen’s Theatre. You will also have the chance to meet professional directors, actors and designers. The project culminates in your group watching a performance of the production you have been working on.

Work Experience Programme - NEW!!
Work Experience Programmes run twice a year, once in the summer and once in the autumn term. There are up to 15 places on each programme. Applications for the summer 2012 programme are now closed. Details of Autumn 2012 will be available soon so please keep checking back.
