We would like your visit to the Queen's Theatre to be an enjoyable one. When booking, please let the Box Office know of any special requirements you or any members of your party may have. We have three parking bays for Blue Badge holders at the front of the building.


Parking and access to the building, foyer and bar

There is a slope as well as steps to the main entrance of the building which is illuminated at all times. There are two sets of doors, one automatic and one manual, to the main entrance.

We have a wheelchair accessible lift in the foyer giving access to our bar area for a person in a wheelchair and a walking person, a pushchair and a walking person or two walking people.

We have a wheelchair accessible toilet in our south foyer and in the bar area.

PARKING
- Car park adjacent to the Theatre
- Three allocated parking spaces for blue badge holders at the front of the building
- There is a lowered kerb to allow wheelchair access from the road to the pavement

MAIN ENTRANCE
- There is a slope as well as 13 steps to the main entrance of the building which is illuminated at all times
- There are two sets of doors at the main entrance, one automatic and one manual
- There are two sets of mats between the entrance doors and the foyer

FOYER
- The Box Office is located in the foyer. The counter stands 4’ (1.2 metres) high
- There is an Induction Loop fitted at the Box Office. Please set your hearing aid to the T position to use this facility
- There is a wheelchair accessible toilet in the South Foyer. Radar keys are held at the Box Office, Kiosk, Bar and Café Area, Stage Door, and the South Foyer Lobby, and are available from Front of House staff

BAR
- There are stairs and a lift going down to the Bar area where there are toilet facilities as well as baby changing facilities. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet. Radar keys are held at the Box Office, Kiosk, Bar and Café Area, Stage Door, and the South Foyer Lobby, and are available from Front of House staff

AUDITORIUM
- The entrance to the Auditorium is level with the Foyer. There are shallow steps with a handrail to all rows in the auditorium except row E, that maintains the same level of access. There are spaces for 4 wheel chairs in row E

Box Office Induction Loop: turn hearing aids to the "T" position

Auditorium Infra-red Transmission: a headset or necklace is required from the Box Office, please mention when booking

Sign Language Interpreted performances: for BSL (British Sign Language) users for all Queen's Theatre cut to the chase... productions. Please ask the Box Office when booking for the best view of the interpreter.

Audio Described performances: for Blind and partially sighted patrons to enjoy the action as it happens on stage, whilst ensuring that there is never an intrusion into the dialogue or song being performed. Headsets are available from Box Office, please mention when booking.
