Our weekly sessions to over 140 young people use drama and theatre to develop creativity, unlock potential, celebrate identity and have fun. Our youth theatre groups are divided by age and are open to everyone no matter what your level of experience. All groups are led and assisted by experienced theatre practitioners.

If you want to make new friends and learn about theatre by playing games and telling stories these weekly groups are a great place to start. They work towards scripted and devised performances for an audience at the theatre.
Cost: £50 per twelve-week term, and meet on a Saturday morning.
If you’re exploring your creativity and want to develop your abilities as a performer, these weekly groups give you the chance to work with industry professionals to develop your skills and understanding as young theatre makers. Sessions lead to performing devised and scripted pieces on the main stage to both invited and public audiences.
Cost: £50 per twelve-week term, and meet on a Wednesday or Thursday evening.
Q Dance (13-18) years Q Dance offers young people aged 13-18 the opportunity to learn and develop a variety of dance techniques. With the guidance of their choreographer, the group combine street dance and musical theatre to create original performances which are showcased at the theatre to an audience.
Cost: £50 per twelve-week term, and meet on a Thursday evening.
For those interested in exploring theatre as a career or who just love performing and making plays our resident young company is the next stop! Participants will work as an ensemble with professional theatre-makers towards a full-scale production on the Queen’s main stage. Choose from acting or technical theatre with entry by annual audition/interview each September.
Cut 2 (Acting Company) costs £160 for the two-term project, and sessions are held weekday evenings.
Cut 2 (Technical Company) costs £100 for the two-term project, and meet once a week.
