Our workshops are created with a particular age group in mind, but most can be tailor-made to suit your group’s needs. And to take the hassle out of the process - the workshop leader comes to you!

Workshops for 11-14 year-olds
(Key Stage 3)

Create
Use visual and verbal stimuli to create your own short play.
Techniques: improvisation, team work, group discussion, informal performance

Much Ado About Nothing
(Set Scenes)
Examine the characters, relationships and themes of the set scenes using practical drama activities.
Techniques: characterisation, improvisation, group work, informal performance
2 hour workshops - £110

Up to 30 participants (or one class) per workshop.

Workshops for 14-19 year-olds (Key Stage 4+)

Producing Theatre Course, Bower Park School 2006-07Devising
Explore different ways of creating drama using stimuli and styles of presentation. Stimuli focus on career paths and decision making.
Techniques: improvisation, group work, presentation styles, informal performance

Children’s Theatre
Develop performance skills for children’s theatre, then use these techniques to build fun and energetic characters and stories.
Techniques: characterisation, movement, storytelling, group work, informal performance

Othello
Examine the characters and their relationships at key points in the play to create a modern version that outlines key scenes.
Techniques: characterisation, improvisation, group work, informal performance

2 hour workshops - £110

Teacher Training

Ideal for a staff inset day and great for teachers who are keen to try drama activities with their students and want to develop their skills in this area. Sessions are tailormade to suit your needs. Techniques: basic rules for the drama classroom, games and activities to explore texts and themes, storytelling, informal performance.
