Onstage, Tony Krolo is a
very funny, immediately likeable sharp wit who’s pushing 40…
as far away as possible. He’s been 23 since he was 17 and that was
20 yeara ago. It’s not a math problem, it’s just the Montreal
born, Croatian-French Canadian is almost too young-minded for his own
good.
Perpetually at that age of
“just getting it together” (that time after University, into
your first job, apartment and serious relationship), Tony postponed Advertising
to do Stand-Up Comedy for a year. He liked it so much he took 14 more.
He has looked back continuously
and hilariously ever since. His act is born of his easily frustrated nature
and over zealous need to make people laugh. He has continuously honed
his craft through Second City classes, Improv, Sketch Comedy, and Yuk
Yuks and other Comedy Clubs throughout the World.
If he had his own sitcom
(and he should), it would be called “Peter Panic” –
a triple entendre alluding to his Peter Pan like refusal to grow up, easily
frustrated ‘panicky’ nature, and Croatian background. Tony
would play the title role of Peter Panic – an effeminate, snarky
fashion slave you’d think was gay if it wasn’t for the revolving
door of attractive but comically flawed women that take up most of his
life.
Comedy is a serious business
for Tony Krolo offstage, and being multi-purpose is the key to success.
His affable stage presence, clean material and comical looks make him
ideal as an Emcee for any function from Television to Corporate.
His quick thinking and voracious
appetite for current events and pop culture make him a great television
or Radio Show Guest as well as Stand-Up Comic. He has a great look for
Commercials and Film and a solid Acting background to prove it. This is
a complete package just waiting for approval.
