Ian Moore Ian Moore

Almost single-handedly leading the resurgence of all things mod, comedian Ian Moore has achieved great success on the London and National circuits and is a regular headliner at London's famous Comedy Store. He is a comedian very much in the Jack Dee mould. He shares the same supercilious manner, the same deadpan delivery and the same sullen contempt for anything which irritates him – which seems to be quite a lot.

Ian's laconic observations on life, from the problems of using the wrong vocabulary in a German Pizza Hut to an almost pathological hatred of most forms of physical exertion, have proved hugely successful with live audiences all over the world. He has worked alongside Catherine Tate and Jimmy Carr.

“Don't miss a single word ... Moore is a cultured comic”
London Evening Standard

“Relaxed, laconic, hilarious”
The Stage

Adam Bloom Adam Bloom

Adam Bloom is one of Britain's most inventive comedians. He has performed sell-out solo shows at several Edinburgh Festivals as well as performing a sell-out tour of Britain. He has also sold out theatres at festivals in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington and Cape Town as well as making three visits to Just For Laughs in Montreal. In 2004, Adam was part of the Just For Laughs Comedy Tour, playing to 42,000 people in 17 cities across Canada. He has also written three series of The Problem with Adam Bloom for BBC Radio 4. Adam’s TV credits include appearances on The Jack Docherty Show, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Bring Me the Head of Light Entertainment, The Young Person’s Guide to Becoming a Rock Star and Mock the Week to name but a few. Bloom has won the 1998 Polygram Video Punters Comedy Award and was Time Out Award Winner for Best Stand-Up in the same year. He was also nominated for a Stella Artois Award in 1999.

“He’s been one of my favourite stand-ups for about ten years.
Bloom not only has meticulous, brilliant lines, but also an intense
and fragile honesty”

Ricky Gervais

“He makes me laugh out-loud, I can’t wait to see him live”
Sir Ian Mckellen

“In the premieur league of comedy” The Independent

James Acaster

Winner of Laughing Boy New Act of the Year Competition 2010, Kettering boy James Acaster is making his way on the London circuit. He is a promising comic with a terrific way with an anecdote and charm to spare. James’s comedy is delivered in a genuine and honest manner, often focussing on his own personal weaknesses as well as all the little things he finds to be unusually thrilling.

“An extremely talented individual with excellent improvisational skills” Funny, Free, Fringe

Sean Percival Sean Percival

Forget political correctness as straight-talking Sean Percival serves up a dish of refreshingly honest comedy. Sean could be mistaken for a bassist in a rock band thanks to his flowing locks, but it’s his hilarious wit that hits all the top notes! Priding himself on his working-class values, Sean is loved for his down-to-earth flair and “telling it like it is.” He regularly performs at Jongleurs and Comedy Store clubs across the UK as well as the Edinburgh, Glastonbury and Reading Festivals. He is also a script writer, working regularly with Capital Radio’s Johnny Vaughan.

“Bloody funny” What’s On

Doc Brown Doc Brown

Since hitting the road as a professional stand up in October 2008, Doc has now become a headline act, as well as an accomplished comedic writer with credits on Radio 4’s The Now Show and a bonafied comic actor with roles in CBBC’s Big Babies, C4’s The Inbetweeners and Ben Miller’s forthcoming movie Huge, to name but a few.

Taking to the stage for the first time as a precocious teenager in 1999 Doc Brown originally made a name for himself as a rapper on the London scene, entering competitions and open-mics in front of unforgiving crowds across the capital’s renowned Hip Hop venues, often winning over his audiences with his sense of humour and self-deprecating style. In 2007 he turned his attentions to stand-up and was a finalist in the So You Think You’re Funny new act competition in 2008. Doc also boasts writing and performance credits on comedy shows Danny Robins’ Music Therapy and Lenny Henry’s Radio 4 sitcom, Rudy’s Rare Records.

“So funny that I slightly wet myself”
Zoe Williams, Radio Head, The Guardian

Finalist of the English Comedian of the Year 2009

Holly WalshHolly Walsh

Holly Walsh, 28, is a stand up comedian, tv presenter and writer. She spent the summer presenting Channel 4’s cult comedy and entertainment programme The TNT Show, with Jack Whitehall, and is now gigging on the UK’s stand up circuit. She’s been described by The Guardian as “the Rice Krispies of the comedy world: she’s gifted with snappy wit and crackling talent and has polished a stand-up routine that is as feel good and funny as the best bubblegum pop.”
A purveyor of skillfully crafted one-liners Walsh has picked up plaudits a-plenty including the influential Chortle Comedy Award for best newcomer in 2008. Holly is no stranger to the TV and has her sights firmly set on further stardom.

“She’s certainly more than capable of writing a decent gag”
Chortle

Josh Widdicome Josh Widdicome

Since his first gig in 2008 Josh Widdicome has had a remarkable impact on the comedy circuit. In just two years he has been named Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2010 and after a handful of gigs made it to the final of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny Awards. Now regarded as one of the best acts on the UK circuit, Josh is in constant demand at clubs and theatres across Britain. He has also written for Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

"A fine set packed with quirky observations,
bundled up in an assured performance"

Jack Whitehall Jack Whitehall

Jack Whitehall is rapidly making a name for himself on the comedy scene and through numerous TV shows. Recent appearances include The Graham Norton Show, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, A Comedy Roast, Would I Lie to You? and You Have Been Watching. Jack has been the guest host on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, he hosted Celebrity Big Brother’s Big Mouth and co-wrote and hosted Channel 4’s TNT Show.

At the age of 21, Jack has already mastered the craft of delivery. He’s a whirlwind of slightly camp physicality, of enforced passion, of big, demonstrative gestures and of the snap characterisations of the people who populate his stories. He’s slick with his audience banter, fluid with his prepared material and compelling to watch. A mini-Russell Brand from his gelled barnet to his grollie-exposing breeches, Jack’s material is about wanting to be rebellious but knowing that he is too posh and well brought up to ever pull it off convincingly.

“There's no way this scamp should be as good as he is.
He's been hugely hyped but has the talent and jokes to back it up”

Time Out

“This hip, young star is rising so fast he is in danger of getting the bends”
Evening Standard

Dave Twentyman Dave Twentyman

No matter what your mood, you really can’t help but warm to rising comedy star Dave Twentyman. He is one of the best things to come out of St.Helens from a long list that already includes Rugby League, Johnny Vegas, glass, The Transport Museum & Margaret off the Weakest Link. Dave puts a smile on everyone’s face with his chatty, cheeky style. He talks a lot about the subjects closer to home, such as family life and friends. His act is lighthearted, positive fun that you can’t help relating too. Naturally humorous and quick on his feet, Dave holds the room in the palms of his hands, keeping the laughter flowing.

"Very funny, lovely young man"
XFM Manchester

"Twentyman took the show by the horns & did an amazing job, give that man a medal"
The Comedy Club Hahaheehee
