Lorna-Marie
graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama with a Post-graduate
diploma in Acting Music Theatre with distinction in July 2002 and completed
an MA in the same subject in 2005.
During her time at
CSSD, Lorna-Marie played a variety of roles including Catherine in Pippin,
The Witch in Into the Woods, Emma in Betrayal and Dorothy
in The Wiz.
After graduating she
performed as part of the ensemble in the Gala performance of Sweeney
Todd for the opening of the Embassy theatre, London. She then took
on the roles of actor/musician in the London Premiere of the Harnick and
Bock musical, The Apple Tree (Landor); Peggy Patch in the No.1
national tour of Playdays Christmas Singalong; Ruth in a rehearsed
reading of Blithe Spirit (Limelight Theatre); originated the
role of the Maid in a new musical adaptation of The Goose Girl
(Blackheath Halls). Lorna-Marie then played the role of Lead Diva/Sue-Ellen
in the London premiere of Six Women with Brian Death (Soho Theatre).
Most recently she
played the role of Cecile in Les Liaisons Dangereurs (Limelight
Theatre). Lorna-Marie is also a competent musician who plays clarinet,
saxophone, flute and bongos!
