Jim's first love, from the age of seven, has been theatre and so he continues to exercise his acting skills through theatre Interpreting. He had various careers before discovering Sign Language through a local evening class. Jim has been an Interpreter for twelve years and works in a wide variety of settings including court work and platform Interpreting as well as Interpreting in the theatre. He has appeared on stage with most of the major companies throughout the UK, including the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre. His varied day to day life can see him working in any situation where D/deaf and hearing people need to communicate on an equal basis. |
