Bell, Book and Candle programme cover4 – 26 October
Bell, Book and Candle
by John van Druten

Gillian Halroyd is ready to fall in love. All she wants is a pleasant, ordinary man and she’ll stop at nothing to get him – her powers of persuasion are quite extraordinary. Spurred on by outrageously eccentric Aunt Queenie and her maverick brother Nicky, Gillian sets her sights firmly on her unsuspecting tenant; He’s pleasant, he’s ordinary and he’s not married… yet.

Set during a snowy Christmas in a fashionable 1950’s Knightsbridge, this magical romantic comedy is warm, charming and very funny.
